Time Tracker

The Time Tracker tool allows you to easily record the time your volunteers and staff serve at your pantry.

In addition to tracking hours worked, you can also collect other useful details related to each time entry — such as:

• Job or role performed

• Hours driven to and from the site

• Community service hours

• And more

This makes it easier to manage and analyze volunteer contributions accurately.

Entering Time

Time can be entered in two formats — whichever is more convenient for you.

1. Decimal Method

Use a decimal point to represent partial hours.

For example:

To record 2 hours and 45 minutes, enter 2.75.

This represents two and three-quarters of an hour.

2. Digital Clock Method

Enter time as you would see it on a clock, using a colon (:) between hours and minutes.

For example:

To record 2 hours and 45 minutes, enter 2:45.

Both formats are accepted, so you can use whichever method works best for you.
