Do you still collect paper signatures?
Are you looking for a faster, simpler way to capture client approvals?
Want to reduce errors and speed up your check-in process?
If so, FoodBank Manager’s electronic signature options can make things easier and more efficient for your team.
FoodBank Manager offers two ways to collect electronic signatures from guests, allowing you to choose what best fits your setup.
1. All-In-One System
The All-In-One System uses a touchscreen device—such as an iPad, iPad Mini, or Android tablet—that runs FoodBank Manager directly, just like your desktop or laptop.
When a signature is required:
Tap Request Signature.
The screen turns into a signature pad.
Have the guest review and accept the certification agreement (if applicable).
The guest signs directly in the box.
If the signature isn’t clear, you can request a new signature and redo the process.
Once saved, the signature is automatically stored in the system.
2. Wireless Touch Device Pairing
Prefer to keep using your computer? You can pair a wireless touchscreen device (like a tablet) with your desktop or laptop, turning it into a digital signature pad.
To set up:
Use the pairing tool "Connect Device" in FoodBank Manager to connect your tablet.
Once paired, guests can sign directly on the tablet screen.
? Tip: Choose a tablet with at least a 5-inch screen and Wi-Fi capability. Many organizations use donated tablets for this purpose.
Note: Topaz Signature Pads are not supported by FBM due to their expense and inability to properly support the USDA signature programs. Was this article helpful?
